An End Gift of Kindness to our Beloved Pet

Dr Julie was so amazingly kind from the first phone call. We were not mentally ready and traumatized at that point and on that day. We talked everything through and I contacted her in the early hours the next day. She came at 10:00 a.m. and we were so grateful that she could come so soon. Our dog was our world for 14 years. It was a very peaceful passing for our girl and us. We have that heart-felt comfort for ever more that in the end she had peace in her final moments. Our dog did not know she was leaving us that day, all she knew was that we were there, with a friend, talking quietly, petting her and giving words of comfort. The sedative made her go to sleep very peacefully, then the final drug is given and she took a few quiet breaths and left the earth. Everything is explained before and also throughout as to what will happen. Although we are sad beyond measure we were able to end her life in the most respectful, precious, caring and loving way. Now we can begin to heal our broken hearts.

Caring and Kind

I had had a horrible experience at a vets office years ago with a former pet. Then someone told me about in-home euthanasia vets. I found Dr. Julie online and was very impressed by all the reviews. I called her about my 17-year-old cat who had chronic kidney disease and was failing fast. She came that afternoon and walked us through the whole situation. She is very kind and caring and she helped us deal with what would have been an otherwise horrible situation. I recommend Dr. Julie to anyone who wants to have a loving way to say goodbye to their fur baby. My cat laid on my lap, she knew she was loved as I petted her and kissed her while she went to sleep. Thank you Dr. Julie for helping my girl pass peacefully with no pain.

Journey of Comfort

Our adult son’s dog, 14yr old Oreo, had come to his geriatric stage of life where he knew it was time to let him go. Oreo was rapidly declining. I called Julie and she was able to come within a few hours. Thirteen years prior we had a horrifying in office experience putting down our 16 yr old healer, so the scars, fears and anxieties were building the stress. Julie was like an angel of light showing up at our messy, just moved into, boxes everywhere renovation. She slowly took her time to discuss and understand our son’s fears for his dog and desire to pass peacefully. She detailed every process before she began and walked him through every step. As a mom, and Oreo’s “Granny” – I felt so blessed to have Julie lead us through this heartache of loss. I would never ever go another route again if humanly possible. Her compassion, kindness and professionalism go beyond my 62 years of life experience as a pet owner. May God bless her for her goodness to man and his beasts…❤

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Bartz. From the moment she texted in response to my query to our phone conversation to her visit to our home and delivering our baby back to us, she exemplified kindness and compassion at every turn. She listened to us, understood where we’ve been and updated her approach based on our conversation. I recommend in-home euthanasia when it’s possible and I highly recommend Dr. Bartz. She will take good care of you and your fur kid. She is amazing.
